The hearing aid suitability determination device is provided with: a hearing ability data acquisition unit (130) for acquiring left-ear hearing ability data (150) and right-ear hearing ability data (151) representing the hearing ability of the subject at different frequencies; a hearing type identification unit (131) that identifies a hearing type (152) for the hearing ability shown by the left-ear hearing ability data (150) and the right-ear hearing ability data (151) from a plurality of hearing types determined by the trends of change in hearing ability relative to frequency, and a suitability determination unit (132) that refers to a suitability database (144) that shows the correspondence between the different hearing types and the suitability of a subject for a binaural hearing aid, and determines the suitability (153) of the subject for a binaural hearing aid o
