Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a method for protecting asparagus by inert gas, comprising the following process flows: (1) selecting straight prime asparagus which has the stem length of 25cm and the diameter of 16-18mm and does not have plant diseases and insect pests, and putting into a packaging bag; (2) mixing gas by a gas proportion mixer, wherein mixed gas comprises five gases comprising CO2, O2, Ar, Xe and N2; (3) vacuumizing, filling gas and carrying out heat seal by a modified atmosphere packaging machine; and (4) refrigerating the packaged fresh asparagus at the temperature of 3-5DEG C. A modified atmosphere package is filled with five gases comprising CO2, O2, Ar, Xe and N2, wherein the volume ratio proportion of the gases is as follows: CO2 accounts for 0-10%, O2 accounts for 0-10%, Ar accounts for 0-15%, Xe accounts for 0-15% and N2 accounts for 50-100%.
