The invention relates to methods for producing a magnetic head and a magnetic recording device. The investment in a test equipment of the magnetic head with a recording element and a recovering element is reduced, the production cost of the magnetic head is reduced, even though when the magnetic head is produced at low cost, the magnetic head is also used and the rate of the finished products of the magnetic recording device is not reduced.
