Press ram falling-preventing device

The invention relates to a press ram falling-preventing device comprising an upper clevis assembly, lower bending plate assemblies and a safety latch. The press ram falling-preventing device is characterized in that the upper clevis assembly, an air cylinder assembly and an overtravel-limit switch are fixedly connected to the front and the back of an upper beam of a press; the safety latch is connected with an air cylinder rod of the air cylinder assembly; the lower bending plate assemblies are fixedly installed at the front and the back of a ram; the upper clevis assembly is provided with two sets of safety latch jacks; two elongated slots are arranged on the lower bending plate assembles; and a safety cock is installed on an upright post of the press. The press ram falling-preventing device is simple and easy to operate and avoids various casualty accidents caused by ram falling in the processes of overhauling, debugging and mold die changing of the press.
