Zusammenfassung:	A baffle plate support structure for a transmission effectively inhibits the vibration of the baffle plate in the housing of the transmission. The baffle plate support structure for supporting the plate-form baffle plate 10 inside a casing 3 of a transmission 1 includes a fixing portion 12 and a supporting portion 22. The fixing portion 12 secures a fixed end 11 of the baffle plate 10 to the casing. The fixed end 11 is one end of the baffle plate 10. The supporting portion 22 supports a supported end 21 of the baffle plate with respect to the casing. The supported end 21 is another end of the baffle plate. The supporting portion 22 has protruding ribs 23 formed on an inner surface 5c of the casing 3. The ribs are configured as: sides opposite to the supported end 21 are provided with a clearance L of predetermined distance with respect to the supported end in a vibrating direction of the supported end.
