Zusammenfassung:	A contact type image sensor is provided with a frame (1). A glass plate (3) is disposed on the frame (1). A circuit board (6) is disposed under the frame (1). A photoelectric conversion chip (7) is disposed on the circuit board (6). A lens (4) is mounted over the photoelectric conversion chip (7). An ultraviolet linear light source (2) is provided at a side of the lens (4). The ultraviolet linear light source (2) is composed of an ultraviolet LED (5-1), a light guide body (5-3), a light guide plate (5-4), and a LED circuit board (5-2). Light guide patterns (5-5), being the grooves on the light guide body, are provided on the light guide body (5-3).
