Automatic control method and system for flying shear

The invention relates to a shearing process and discloses an automatic control method and system for a flying shear. In the invention, the variable-slope startup of the flying shear can be realized by calculating the startup rise time of the flying shear at different target shearing speeds, thereby greatly reducing the startup current of the flying shear and effectively saving electrical energy. In addition, a speed regulator adopts the pure proportional control at low speed or increases the measurement period for a pulse encoder which is used for detecting the actual speed of the flying shear, thereby avoiding jitter of the flying shear in the stop position and avoiding the mechanical vibration. Furthermore, the failure rate of the system can be reduced by enabling the position of a cutting edge and speed measurement to share the same encoder.
