Cutter exchange device

The invention provides a cutter exchange device, capable of accurately identifying the cutter kind of the cutting tool housed in a cutter housing component, wherein the cutter housing component can house a plurality of cutting tools. In one embodiment way, the cutter exchange device is used for exchanging first, second cutting tools used in first, second cutting components in the cutting device of the cutting workpiece and comprises first, second cutter racks (71a,71b). The first, second cutter racks (71a,71b) are used for housing a plurality of cutting tools for exchange and a bar code label recording the cutter kind is adhered on the back of the cutting tool for exchange. In addition, the first, second cutter racks (71a,71b) comprise reading mechanisms (713) for reading the kind of the cutter from the bar code label.
