In the preparation process of a lead-acid storage battery, an active carbon foam material in an amount which is 5 to 10 percent based on the mass of an anode active material is added into the anode active material when an anode plate is prepared; conducting graphite in an amount which is 5 to 8 percent based on the mass of a cathode active material and the active carbon foam material in an amount which is 2 to 6 percent based on the mass of the cathode active material are added into the cathode active material when a cathode plate is prepared, and the cathode active material is stirred at the high temperature of between 60 and 70 DEG C and is carburized; and a third electrode is made of a diaphragm material formed by mingling more than one layer of anti-puncture diaphragm in a multi-layer glass fiber baffle.
