The invention relates to an angelica sinensis chengqi decoction which is prepared from the following bulk pharmaceutical chemicals in parts by weight: 400-800 parts of rheum officinale, 200-400 parts of mirabilite, 400-800 parts of angelica sinensis, 200-300 parts of pericarpium citri reticulatae, 140-180 parts of snakegourd seed, 60-100 parts of snakegourd peel, and 1-2 parts of ethylparaben. The invention also provides application of the angelica sinensis chengqi decoction in preparing a medicine for treating an excited disquieting disease, a conduct disorder disease and an abdomen distension and constipation. The decoction provided by the invention has the advantages that the bulk pharmaceutical chemicals required by the medicine are less and are easy to obtain; the medicine can be prepared conveniently and the operation is simple; and the decoction has characteristics of rapid and obvious curative effect and few side effects, and is suitable for clinical practice.
