Zusammenfassung:	The assembly has an external exchanger (3) installed on a front surface of a motor vehicle to enable passage of the air from outside of the vehicle. Shutters (12) pass the outside air through the exchanger to enable heat exchange between the air and a heat-transfer fluid e.g. R134a, flowing through the exchanger in an open state. The shutters block the passage of the air through the exchanger in a closed state. The external exchanger is selectively operated as evaporator or condenser. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a heat pump comprising a heating unit (2) a method for controlling a heat pump.
