Catheter position acquiring method, device and system

The invention discloses a method for providing auditory feedback of anatomic position of a pressure transducer connected with a catheter when the catheter is inserted into the ventricle or blood vessel of a patient, comprising acquiring pressure waveform data from a pressure transducer indicative of blood pressure readings over time; generating an audible signal according to the pressure waveform data, wherein the audible signal conveys information about anatomic position of the pressure transducer within the ventricle or blood vessel. The doctor can concentrate the attention on catheterization without observing other positions when inserting the catheter during surgery by utilizing the auditory feedback provided by the method, system or device so as to greatly reduce the risk of error.
