Grid of storage battery

The invention discloses a grid of a storage battery. The grid comprises an oblong or square frame which is enclosed by four frame ribs, wherein a plurality of vertically interlaced transverse ribs and vertical ribs are arranged in the frame; lugs are fixed on the frame ribs on one side; the cross section of at least one rib in the vertical ribs, the transverse ribs and the frame ribs is a regularpolygon with n sides; and n is a natural number which is not less than 5 and not more than 10. Because the section of one of the vertical ribs, the transverse ribs and the frame ribs of the grid of the storage battery provided by the invention is the regular polygon with n sides, the surface area of the profile ranges from that of a circular section and that of a triangular section under the condition that the areas of the cross sections are the same; the utilization ratio of an active substance and the corrosion resistance are moderate; the service life of the storage battery can be prolonged; and the application req
