Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a backlight control method and a device thereof. The backlight control method comprises the following steps of: receiving a display synchronization signal; producing a backlight control signal according to the display synchronization signal; and driving a backlight source according to the backlight control signal. The backlight control device comprises a signal receiving circuit, a control circuit and a drive circuit, wherein the signal receiving circuit is used for receiving the display synchronization signal; the control circuit is coupled to the signal receiving circuit and is used for producing the backlight control signal according to the display synchronization signal; and the drive circuit is coupled to the control circuit and is used for driving the backlight source according to the backlight control signal.
