The invention relates to a low-temperature thin film citronella oil instantaneous distilling device which belongs to a fractionating tower for producing citronella essential oil. In the invention, a thin film distributor and a steam heater are directly installed on a tower body; two stainless steel screen fillers are installed on an upper tower section and used as foam eliminators for blocking liquid, and the steam heater is directly installed on the tower body so that the gas flow direction is opposite to the liquid flow direction; liquid is distilled after naturally forming a film on the surface of a heating pipe by gravity from top to bottom; and gas generated by heating is drawn into a condensing reflux device by high vacuum in the opposite direction. The invention has the advantages of low manufacture cost, short fractionating course, short heating time, low loss and energy consumption, high product quality and good effect in production.
