The wireless communication terminal comprises a storage unit and a first port, wherein the storage unit is used for storing number data; and the first port communicates with external equipment. The data protection method comprises the following steps of: receiving a first command sent by the external equipment by the first port; analyzing the first command to obtain an analysis result; and when the analysis result indicates that the first command is an illegal operation command of the number data, not responding to the first command. The number data in the wireless communication terminal is protected, so that the generation of a twin machine/set machine can be prevented fundamentally.
