The invention discloses a method, a device and network equipment for processing label switched path fault. The method comprises the following steps of: when the LSP (Label Switched Path) is detected to be faulty, setting switched items of the LSP into an unactivated state; using the switched items in the unactivated state for sending detection messages; when the fault of the LSP is recovered, setting the switched items which correspond to the LSP into an activated state; and using the switched items in the activated state for sending the detection messages and/or data messages. The invention can carry out normal switching when the LSP is faulty and recover the state of a link in time when the fault of the LSP is revered by setting the activated state and the unactivated state of the switched items, thereby preventing the problem of blackhole routes and enhancing the speed and the efficiency of fault switched treatment.
