The method comprises the following step of: adding calcium hydroxide and/or sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and/or urea serving as a modifier into peanut protein powder serving as a raw material respectively to obtain the peanut protein adhesive. Compared with the conventional trialdehyde adhesive, the adhesive has the advantages of no emission of formaldehyde, higher bonding strength, environmental friendliness and better social and environmental benefits.
