Image correcting method and image processing system using same

The invention provides an image correcting method and an image processing system using the same. The image correcting method comprises the following steps: (a) sensing a target pixel of a sensed column in an effective pixel area of an image sensor to generate at least one target pixel value; (b) at the same point-in-time of executing the step (a), sensing at least one reference pixel in a shielded area of the image sensor to generate a corrected value, wherein the reference pixel and the sensed column do not belong to one column; and (c) referring to the corrected value for correcting and outputting the target pixel value. By positioning the sensed column and the reference pixel in different columns, the maneuverability of the system is increased. Also, the original hardware architecture can be used without adding extra hardware cost.
