Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a cell culture muffler, comprising a vessel (2) with a base wall (4) and a side wall (5) erecting from the base wall and surrounding, a cover (3) hermetically arranged on the side wall (5) at the seal position and a device (7) for keeping the cover (3) on the vessel (2) at the ventilation position above the seal position, a ventilation gap (13) present between the side wall (5) and the cover (3) at the ventilation position, wherein the device is vincible by extruding the cover (3) and the vessel (2), so that the cover (3) enters into the seal position from the ventilation position.
