Seamless and efficient communication mechanism between wireless multimedia sensor network nodes

The invention discloses a seamless and efficient communication method between wireless multimedia sensor network nodes, and relates to the solution for the communication between two nodes with different functions in a wireless multimedia sensor network. In the method, sensor nodes consist of five main modules, namely a processor module, a wireless multimedia sensor network Zigbee communication module, a sensor module, a memory module and a power supply module, wherein the sensor nodes are disposed in a certain monitoring area; data transmitted from a last node is received and forwarded by using a Zigbee wireless communication module; protocol conversion does not need to be performed between a multimedia sensor node and a common sensor node; and the data is transmitted back to a managementcentre by using the Internet.
