Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a power converting device having simple structure and capable of making the attachement and the disattachment of a fan case easier, relative to a main body, without needing additional fixing component, wherein the fan case has a cooling fan. A power converting device includes a main body 2 having a heat producing part housed therein, a fan case 7 having a cooling fan 6 therein for cooling the heat producing part arranged in the main body, and a housing portion 5 in the main body 2 which houses the fan case 7. The fan case 7 and the housing portion 5 are interconnected so that the fan case is pivotally attached to and detached from the housing portion.
