Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a ferrite powder for bonded magnets which has widened particle size distribution in order to attain favorable flowability and consolidated density and which is reduced in the increase of SFD due to widened particle size distribution and suppressed in the deterioration of orientation and magnetizability. A magnetoplumbite-type ferrite powder for bonded magnets which has a mean particle diameter of 0.20 to less than 5.00[mu]m and contains oxide of at least one transition metal selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ti, Zn, Co, Mn and Ni, wherein the content of particles of 1[mu]m or below in diameter on the basis of the particle size distribution of the magnetoplumbite-type ferrite powder as determined with a laser diffraction particle size distribution analyzer is20mass% or above.
