The apparatus for measuring the gas forming quantity of calcium carbide by using a single calibrating weight method comprises a weight weighing machine, a reactor and a gas purifier, wherein a gas inlet of the gas purifier is connected with a gas outlet of the reactor; the reactor and the gas purifier are arranged on the upper part of the weight weighing machine; and the weight weighingmachine weighs the weight of the reactor and the gas purifier.
