The invention discloses a vehicle wheel with a variable wheel diameter. The vehicle wheel comprises a vehicle wheel outer profile and a variable-diameter device used for driving the vehicle wheel outer profile to deform, wherein the vehicle wheel outer profile consists of a plurality of small blades which are connected crosswise with each other end to end; the variable-diameter device comprises an eccentric connecting rod of which one end is rotationally connected with the small blades, a bull gear which is fixedly connected with the eccentric connecting rod and a driving part used for driving the eccentric connecting rod and the bull gear to rotate around a central shaft. The vehicle wheel with the variable wheel diameter has the characteristic of telescopic outer profile, so the vehiclewheel can avoid barriers, enhances balancing capacity while running on a complicated ground surface, reduces accident rate and is easy to operate.
