Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a paper processing apparatus and paper processing program, capable of reliably identifying the bank note. An ATM (2) of the invention discriminates the string and color of two mark numbers (32A, 32B) recorded on the paper (the bank note (31)), and judges whether the information of two mark numbers is consistent or not. Moreover, if the information of two mark numbers is consistent, the ATM determines the identification reference of the information of the discriminated mark number. Then, the ATM judges the authenticity of the paper based on the determined identification reference. In addition, the authenticity of the bank note (31) can be judged based on the counterfeit coin stored in an external storage part (15) and the information of the mark number of the stolen bank note. Therefore, the paper can be reliably identified.
