Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a machining apparatus, and its machining method, having machining tables (50 and 51) whose weight do not increase so much even if a number of machining section (44)s such as spindles (40) is increased. One of the machining tables (50 and 51) is a rectangular stationary table (51) having a groove (50v) in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction on its surface and the other is a rectangular movable table (51) engaged with the groove (50v). The machining apparatus machines a printed circuit board (2), whose area is larger than that of the movable table (51), on a mounting surface (50s) of the stationary table (5) by changing position of the printed circuitboard (2) by moving the movable table (51) and by determining machining position by moving a spindle (44) at position facing to the mounting surface (50s) of the stationary table (50).
