Banknote position adjusting method and device for banknote recognizing machine

The invention relates to a banknote position adjusting method and device for a banknote recognizing machine, wherein the device comprises a body, a channel adjusting device, a transmission device, a moving banknote pressing device and a recognizing device; the adjusting method comprises the following steps: banknotes are inserted from an inserting port of the body into a channel; the banknotes trigger a banknote feeding sensor to start the transmission device at the inside of an induction zone, so that a transmission element drives the banknotes to move inwards until a stopping sensor is triggered; the transmission device stops operating and the banknotes are positioned between two adjusting elements; the induction zone uses more than one sensors to sense the width and the offset direction of the banknotes; the moving banknote pressing device moves a plurality of pressing wheels away from the banknotes; the channel adjusting device at the inside of the induction zone starts a driving part according to the sen
