Microphone

The invention relates to a microphone (10) having a microphone head (12) with a first slip ring (100), which is divided into at least first and second segments (GND, 300), wherein a first part is grounded, while a second part is not grounded or connected to another potential. The microphone has a first end with a contact (15). Besides the microphone has a detection unit (16) connected to the contact (15). The first slip ring (100) interacts with the contact (15) when the microphone head (12) is screwed to the first end (13) of the microphone by means of a screw connection, thus rotation of the first slip ring (100) relative to the contact (15) generates an alternating digital signal. The contact (15) and at least the first and second segments (GND, 300) alternately contact, thus the detection unit detects the rotation of the microphone head (12) by detecting and analyzing the variable digital signals.
