The preparation method comprises the following steps: dispersing multi-wall carbon nano tubes to a reactor filled with a methane sulfonis acid and phosphoric pentoxide mixed solution by using ultrasound, adding 4,4'-dimethyldihenyl ether, heating, stirring, and carrying out nitrogen protection treatment to obtain functional multi-wall carbon nano tube solution; and adding 3,3'-diaminobenzidine, heating to react, putting the reactor in ice water, washing with alkali, washing with water, and vacuum-drying to obtain the carbon nano tube reinforced polybenzimidazole compound.
