Method for preparing adsorbent by modifying pineapple peel residues

The invention provides a method for preparing an adsorbent by modifying pineapple peel residues, which comprises the following steps of: washing, pulping, filtering and drying the pineapple peel residues, then treating the pineapple peel residues by isopropyl alcohol and then performing the alkalization treatment on the pineapple peel residues by sodium hydroxide; adding succinic anhydride, pyridine or dimethyl sulphoxide into the pineapple peel residues for a modification reaction; and after the reaction is finished, washing and drying the obtained product to obtain the adsorbent used for adsorbing heavy metal ions in wastewater.
