The invention discloses a method for sampling metal material sample, comprising the following steps: confirming the diameters of a gun drill bit and a twist drill bit according to the widths of the sampling space and the sample; using a gun drill to make jump drilling along the central line of holes to be drilled of the material to be sampled; filling the gun drilling holes by using pin shafts with the diameter being the same as that of the gun drill bit; drilling at all intervals of the gun drilling holes by using the twist drill bit with the diameter being the same as that of the gun drill bit; taking out the pin shafts inside the gun drilling holes; and prying the sample material by a plunger chip, disconnecting the gang drill virtual connecting part and taking down the sample material.
