Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an anti-abrasion graphitization cathode carbon block used for an aluminum electrolytic cell and a manufacturing method thereof, relating to nonmetallic material field of metallurgical engineering materials. In the invention, high-sulfur petroleum coke is used as one of the raw materials to manufacture the graphitization cathode carbon block, wherein, the sulphur content ofthe high-sulfur petroleum coke is 1-3%. The cathode carbon block comprises the following raw materials in weight percentage: 80-85% of high-sulfur petroleum coke with sulphur content being 1-3% and 15-20% of modified coal tar pitch. A secondary high-temperature calcination technology is adopted in the working procedure, and the sulfur content in the high-sulfur petroleum coke is effectively removed; a large-scale vibration forming technology and a lengthwise graphitization technology are adopted to replace dipping and secondary rebaking procedures in the prior art, thus the graphitization time of the products is reduc |
