Method for extracting video fingerprints

The invention discloses a method for extracting video fingerprints, comprising the following steps: extracting video keyframes and all interest points of each keyframe; dividing each keyframe into a plurality of concentric circular rings with equal areas according to a boundary corresponding to each keyframe and the extracted interest points; dividing each concentric circular ring into a plurality of sector rings with equal areas; computing a ordinal measurement vector corresponding to the concentric circular rings according to a grayscale mean value of the sector rings inside each concentric circular ring, and obtaining the ring-shaped characteristics of each keyframe and ring-shaped fingerprints of a video corresponding to the keyframe. The invention can enhance the precision of fingerprint extraction of the videos.
