For the effervescent suppository of the invention, the ornidazole is added with a foaming agent, so that the effervescent effect can be generated to accelerate the dissolution of the suppository and the release of the medicament when the effervescent suppository is used. The medicinal preparation has the advantages of the effervescent preparation as well as characteristics of the suppository; the medicament can be dissolved and absorbed more easily; and the effervescent suppository is the solid preparation and contributes to the storage of the medicaments which have active properties and are easily oxidized and reduced. Therefore, the medicinal preparation is actively meaningful for actual clinical application.
