Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a user-friendly vehicle travel support device which realizes torque-up only when a driver has issued an instruction.The vehicle travel support device (10) supports travel of a vehicle by changing the wheel drive torque during a travel of the vehicle. The vehicle travel support device (10) includes: torque-up means (36, 38) which increases the drive torque; and switching means (12) forswitching between a first state which allows operation of the torque-up means and a second state which suppresses operation of the torque-up means according to an input by the driver.
