Zusammenfassung: | Rib plates (2) are disposed in a cylindrical pressure vessel (vessel body (1)), and are joined to the inner wall surface of the pressure vessel while kept erected by welding from the outside of the wall of the pressure vessel. A resistance welding or a laser welding with less thermal effect is desirably used for the welding. Even small-sized, thin-walled pressure vessels can have an increased compressive strength by disposing and fixing the rib plates therein. Even the pressure vessels used as hydrogen storage alloy vessels can have an excellent strength against the expansion of alloy. Since the vessel can be easily manufactured, it can be mass-produced. Since the internal volume of the pressure vessel can be increased by reducing the plate thickness of the vessel and optimizing the shape of the ribs, volumetric efficiency as a hydrogen storage vessel can be increased. |
