Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an operating device for a CNC lathe, which comprises a rotary switch and a function enter key, wherein the rotary switch is used for selecting a to-be-operated function menu on an operating panel of the CNC lathe; and the function enter key is used for touching the selected function menu when the to-be-operated function menu is selected. The operating device replaces the prior key by utilizing the rotary switch and the function enter key so as to obtain good operation and more attractive operation panel.
