The invention discloses a document compiling method and device. the method includes: decomposing the document to be compiled into at least one compiled object; generating an EForms model for describing the compiled object according to the document structure; forming a compile interface by using the XForms control for processing the document, receiving the data input by the user, and updating the XRorms case corresponding to the XForms model by using the received input data; synthesizing the XRorms case and generating the compile result of the document. The ethod and device provided by the invention, can realize the reusability of document compiled software for the different standard document, and can be suitable for various operating environments, thus having better flexibility and reducing the platform dependency.
