Zusammenfassung:	An information recording system for a vehicle has an ECU etc. that detect an abnormal event occurring in the vehicle, a vehicle condition determination section that, based on output values of sensors and switches arranged at various places of the vehicle and on threshold values, determines vehicle condition including travel condition and/or travel environments of the vehicle, and a storage section that stores vehicle condition when an abnormal event that is determined by the vehicle condition determination section is detected and also stores a time duration of the vehicle condition from a time point at which a threshold value is exceeded to a time point at which the abnormal event is detected.
