Flexible axle with rigid non-deformable crossbar

The invention relates to a rear flexible axle for an automotive vehicle including at least two longitudinal oscillating arms (1, 2), each arm being connected to a wheel holder (3, 4) at its end oriented towards the rear of the vehicle while the other front end is connected to the frame of the vehicle through an elastic bearing (7, 8) and said arms being connected by a crossbar (11), characterised in that: the ends of the crossbar are rotatingly mounted on the arms to allow for the rotation of the arms relative to the crossbar about the crossbar axis; and the longitudinal arms each include, on the side of their end supporting the wheel holder, a guiding bar (12, 13) connecting said arm end to the crossbar, each guiding bar being rigidly to the longitudinal arm and rotatingly mounted on the crossbar.
