Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a liquid crystal orientation agent, a liquid crystal display element, a poly-amic acid, a polyimide and compound. A liquid crystal orientation agent capable of forming liquid crystal orientation film with excellent heat resistance, great in printability and coated film thickness uniformity without generating any air bubbles is provided. The polyamic acid includes at least one polymer selected from poly-amic acid and a group including polyimides prepared from dehydrating and closing loop of the poly-amic acid. The poly-amic acid is prepared from reaction between tetracarboxylic dianhydride and diamine of the compound represented by formula (A), wherein R and R represents alkyl groups with carbon number from 1 to 30 respectively.
