Zusammenfassung: | When the astigmatic method is used as a method for detecting a focus error signal (FE signal), a track crossing component leaks into the FE signal. It is possible to reduce the leaking signal by devising the FE signal detection method. However, this cannot be used when the light use efficiency is lowered. An optical crosstalk correction amount deciding unit (1000) decides a correction amount for correcting the output of a tracking error detection unit (120) according to an optical crosstalk to the FE signal from the TE signal generated in a reflected light from an optical disc (102) when a spot crosses a track. The decided correction amount is multiplied by the output of the tracking error detection unit (120) and added to the output of a focus error detection unit (118). According to theaddition result, focus control is executed by a focus control unit (138). Thus, it is possible to significantly reduce leak of the TE signal component into the FE signal caused by the optical crosstalk. |
