The invention discloses a lamp wick and an explosion-proof indicating lamp. The lamp wick comprises a transparent cover and an inner shell, wherein the transparent cover is fixedly connected with the inner shell to form a cavity; a light source and a circuit board is arranged in the cavity, and the light source is electrically connected with the circuit board; and two wiring terminals are arranged outside the cavity and are positioned on two opposite sides of the transparent cover respectively, each wiring terminal is connected with one end of a conducting strip, while the other end of the conducting strip is inserted in the cavity and is electrically connected with the circuit board. The inner shell of the lamp wick can be assembled and produced independently and does not influence the various assembling modes of the indicating lamp; besides, under the condition that the components and the structure are not changed, the various assembling modes of the indicating lamp can be achieved.
