Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device for determining the speed of a vehicle with means for determining the yaw rate of the vehicle, means for determining the curvature of a curve passed through by the vehicle, and means for determining the speed of the vehicle from the yaw rate and the curvature. The invention further relates to a method for determining the speed of a vehicle, comprising the steps: determining the yaw rate, determining the curvature, and calculating the vehicle speed from the yaw rate and the curvature. The curvature can be determined from the difference of the measured wheel speeds.
