The straightening roller is solid, length of the roller body is 5-7m, and ratio of length to diameter is 15-30. The manufacturing method includes steps: transversely placing a solid roller blank of MC5 material with length of 5-7m and ratio of length to diameter of 15-30, carrying out rough lathing and modified heat treatment to make bending deflection of the roller bland less than 2mm; carrying out quenching by using a intermediate frequency induction heating quenching device, wherein temperature is from 980 DEG C to 1050 DEG C, and a central rack is used for supporting the roller body in the quenching process; carrying out low-temperature tempering with temperature from 110 DEG C to 150 DEG C; and carrying out grinding processing during which two coordination racks are used for supporting the roller body.
