Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a control console assembly with a hand rest, comprising a control console deck; a dome that projects from the deck, having a first side portion, a centre portion and a second side portion, where the dome has a slot formed in the centre portion, a recess formed in the second side portion adjacent to the slot, for receiving a finger of a hand of an operator; a rotary control lever, part of which projecting above the deck; a depression formed through the deck, adjacent to a side portion of the dome, where the dome, the recess, the deck and the depression form a hand rest for an operator manipulating the control level. The control console hand reset here provided can reduce the possibility of unintentional throttle control lever movement.
