Zusammenfassung:	The device (100) has an accommodating and/or releasing module for accommodating and/or releasing a sample and/or process container. A transporting module transports the process container. A biological sample processing module e.g. lysis module and/or extraction module, implements a magnetic separation. A preparing module prepares an amplification reaction and/or analysis process for analytes. The biological sample processing module is arranged in one unit (120) and the preparing module is arranged separately in another unit (140). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a biological sample processing unit (2) a module for utilization in a sample processing unit for biological sample processing.
