Dual hinged display module for use in a mobile device

The mobile device (100) described herein includes a display module (110). The display module (110) rotates about one of two independent axes (130, 132) to provide different viewing angle options to the user. The mobile device (100) includes a housing (120) and a display module (110). The display module (110) includes a display (112), first and second sides adjacent to the display (112), and firstand second hinges (114, 116) associated with the first and second sides, respectively. The first hinge (114) rotatably mounts the display module (110) to the housing (120) for rotation about a first axis (130). The second hinge (116) rotatably mounts the display module (110) to the housing (120) for rotation about a second axis (132), independent of the first axis (130).
