Modular communication device and management module

The present invention relates to field of communication technology, and discloses a modularized communication device and a management module. Through setting different pull-down resistors for the different styles of functional modules to be differentiated, the pull-down resistors in different styles of functional modules obtains different voltages in the series circuit which is composed of pull-down resistor and pull-up resistor in the management module. The style of the functional module is determined according to the voltage value obtained by the pull-down resistor. Thus the style of functional module in the slot can be confirmed at the state that the module only outputs one signal. The signals which require outputting by the functional module are reduced thereby simplifying the structure of functional module, facilitating backboard wiring and facilitating the updating when the style of functional modules is increased.
